UPSC ESE 2019 Exam Registration Closes | Know the Next Step for Candidates

UPSC ESE Exam 2019: Union Public Service Commission has closed the application process for the UPSC ESE Exam 2019 (Engineering Services Exam) on 22nd October. The link to apply online for the ESE Exam Prelims is now removed and candidates won’t be able to apply online for the exam.

The Union Public Service Commission released the official notification for the ESE Exam 2019 in the month of September. The official notification was released on 26th September 2018 and the process of filling the application form started on the same date. The last date to fill and submit the application form was 22nd October. Here are the details regarding the exam date for the UPSC ESE Exam 2019.

UPSC ESE Exam 2019 – Exam Date For Prelims Exam

Union Public Service Commission conducts the Engineering Services Exam every year. In the 2019 year, UPSC will conduct the Prelims Exam for the ESE 2019 in the month of January. The exact date for the examination is 6th January 2019. The exam duration is one day. As the exam is scheduled to be held in the first week of January then the admit cards for the exam will be uploaded on the website of UPSC in the month of December.

The admit card for the Prelims Exam will be only uploaded on the official website and candidates will have to download them from the website. No admit cards will be sent via post to candidates. After the Prelims Exam of the UPSC ESE, the candidates who will clear the exam will be called for the Mains Exam 2019. The exam date for the UPSC ESE Main Exam 2019 is 30th June 2019.

UPSC Vacancies Under ESE 2019 Exam

The Union Public Service Commission will select the candidates to the Services under Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics, and Telecommunications Engineering. The expected vacancies are approximately 581. These vacancies may increase or decrease.

Candidates are advised to read the notification of Union Public Service Commission for the vacancy details in various Services and Posts. The Prelims Exam will be conducted in 42 examination centres while the Main Exam will be conducted in 24 examination centres.
