UPSC CDS II – 2017 Online Form for Combined Defence Service CDS II Exam

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited applications for CDS II exam. UPSC has released the notification for CDS 2 exam. Interested candidates who want to apply for CDS II exam can go through the official notification of CDS II exam 2017 on the official UPSC website. Combined Defence Service Exam CDS II – Important Dates

Here are the important dates of CDS 2 exams. The application for CDS exam begins from 9 August and the last date to apply for various posts in CDS exam is 8 September up to 6 pm. Exam Date of CDS II exam is 19 November 2017. Admit card for CDS exam will be available in October.

Combined Defence Service Exam CDS II – Eligibility & Education Qualifications

The eligibility for CDS II exam varies from posts to posts. For IMA & OTA candidate must have completed his/her bachelor degree from a recognized University. For Naval Academy Candidates must have Bachelor Degree in Engineering and for Airforce Academy candidate must have a Bachelor Degree in any Stream and passed 10+2 with Physics and Maths.

Combined Defence Service Exam CDS II – Age Limit

The Age Limit for the posts of CDS is as follows. The maximum age to apply for CDS is 24 years and the minimum age for the different posts in CDS is 20 years. Age relaxation is based on the rules.

Combined Defence Service Exam CDS II – Application Fee

The application fee for CDS 2 exam is Rs.200. Candidates belonging to General and OBC category the fees is Rs.200 and for female candidates & SC/ST candidates the fees is nil. The examination fees for CDS can be paid online or through e Challan.

Combined Defence Service Exam CDS II – Vacancies & How To Apply

There are total 414 vacancies in CDS different posts. In IMA(Indian Military Academy) total 100 posts are vacant. In Airforce 32 vacancies, in Indian Naval Academy total 45 posts and for OTA(Officers Training Academy) total 225+12 posts.
