UPSC IES/ESE 2017 Examination final cut-off marks have been officially declared online. Union Public Service Commission has recently released a detailed UPSC 2017 notification wherein the final cut-off score of the Engineering Services exam i.e. UPSC IES/ESE 2017 exam has been revealed. The Commission releases the cut-off score only after successful completion of the UPSC IES/ESE 2017 Exam procedure in terms of conducting, scheduling till final result declaration after conducting interviews for the UPSC IES/ESE 2017 Exam.

The UPSC notification declaring the final cut-off marks for the UPSC IES/ESE 2017 Exam held in the form of three levels i.e. Prelims, Mains & Interview cum Personality test has been released on the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in. Candidates can check the cut-off marks notification for the UPSC IES/ESE 2017 Exam on the homepage of the website clicking on the examination section of which candidates have the option to choose as to what they want to view pertaining to the UPSC IES/ESE 2017 Exam.
Candidates can check the final cut-off marks notification as well as the individual cut-off scores of the UPSC IES/ESE 2017 Exam in various disciplines in the notice.

The cut-off score decides the qualifying criteria of the candidates who secure the marks in the UPSC IES/ESE 2017 Exam above these marks. The individual cut-off score varies for all the streams of engineering disciplines for which the UPSC IES/ESE 2017 Exam is conducted annually. For the year 2017, the cut off marks for the Civil Engineering Discipline for prelims, Mains & Interview individually are 202, 520 and 691 marks for candidates belonging to the unreserved category. For Mechanical engineering UPSC IES/ESE 2017 Exam, the cut-off score is 231, 553 and 723 respectively. The cut-off marks for the Electrical engineering in the same order is 257, 618 & 769 marks in the UPSC IES/ESE 2017 Exam. Candidates who took the UPSC IES/ESE 2017 Exam in electronics and telecommunication engineering have 221, 549 & 713 marks.
The cutoff scores for four other categories have been clearly mentioned in the tabulated format in the UPSC IES/ESE 2017 Exam notification declaring the cut-off marks of the candidates. The cut-off score in the Engineering services examination simply depicts the marks obtained out of the maximum marks in the UPSC IES/ESE 2017 Exam by the last admitted candidate into a particular discipline.
