UPSC IES/ESE 2018 Prelims Examination is scheduled to be conducted on January 7, 2018 at a pan India level. The test is held for the candidates who filled the online application forms for the Engineering Services exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission last year. The Union Public Service Commission which conducts the Engineering Services Examination every year to recruit candidates from various engineering disciplines whose prelims level is all set to be held on Jan 7, 2018. The aspirants who aim to appear for the same are iterated to download their respective admit cards cum call letters as released by the UPSC online. Further, the download link for the e-admit cards shall remain active till Jan 7, 2018 only post which shall be deactivated by the authorities. The candidates need to visit the aforesaid official UPSC website and click on the admit card link which shall redirect them to a page wherein candidates are required to submit their credentials like roll number or RID along with DOB or password to download their e-admit cards online.

The aspirants are required to bring the hard copy of the admit cards along with photo ID proof for authentication purpose as a document of proof. The candidates shall report at the reporting time mentioned on their respective admit cards at the right venue in time to permit sufficient time for the frisking staff to carry out the security check. Further, a list of prohibited items has been issued by the UPSC in its guidelines and important instructions issued online for the candidates for tomorrow’s IES 2018 paper also called as ESE or engineering services exam. Candidates are restricted to bring mobile phones, any calculators or bluetooth connecting devices to the exam hall of the UPSC IES/ESE 2018 Prelims Exam.
Furthermore, bringing a BLACK BALL POINT pen is mandatory for them in order to attempt the paper. UPSC IES/ESE 2018 Prelims Exam attempted using different coloured ink pens or pencils shall not be evaluated for marking the exam. We wish all the candidates, all the best for the upcoming test.
