Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) NDA & NA 2 exam, 2017 date is officially out. The UPSC NDA & NA exam will be held on 10th September 2017. Candidates applied for the NDA & NA 2 exam in the month of June and can expect to receive their admit cards by mid-August.
Every year thousand of candidates appear for UPSC NDA & NA exam to get selected in Naval Force, Air Force and Army of India. UPSC conducts exam at two level written test followed by an interview. UPSC conducts this exam to fill in vacancies for National Defence Academy and Naval Academy (NA).
UPSC NDA & NA 2 Exam 2017
Registrations for UPSC NDA & NA exam concluded in June 2017 and now the commission has officially released the exam date. UPSC NDA & NA 2 Exam will be held on 10th September 2017. Candidates registered for Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) NDA & NA 2 Exam in the month of June 2017. Aspirants will receive their admit cards for the UPSC NDA & NA 2 Exam after mid-August. Candidates can download their admit cards from UPSC’s official website and they are required to carry their admit cards at the exam centre. The Commission will upload the result of NDA exam 2 by month of October 2017.
Candidates who appeared for UPSC NDA & NA 1 Exam on 23 April 2017, can expect their result to be declared soon. However, no official announcement has been made about the result declaration by the commission. Thus, candidates are urged to wait for the official announcement. Last year the result of UPSC NDA & NA 1 Exam was out in the month of June. But this year it’s getting late. The results of for UPSC NDA & NA 1 Exam will be declared on Commission official website www.upsc.gov.in.
NDA is the most challenging competitive exam held every year. The Commission will start NDA & NA exam at the same time as it is held every year. The application process will begin on 10th January 2018 and will be open until 5th February 2018.
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts NDA & NA exam twice in a year i.e. NDA & NA 1 and NDA & NA 2. The first exam is held in the month of April and second in the month of September. Candidates who qualify in the first NDA & NA exam held in the month of April 2017; will be called for Service Selection Board (SSB) interview. The Service Selection Board (SSB) will take personality and intelligence interview. Further qualifying in the interview, candidates will get admission to the Air Force Wings of the NDA for the 139th course or Army Navy. The 101st Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) will commence from 2 January 2018.
NDA & NA Written Exam Pattern 2017
All competitive exam has fixed pattern for exam and same goes for National Defence Academy and Naval Academy (NA) exam. Candidates will see objective type questions in the exam. Exam has negative marking. There are two parts 300 marks each with a totality of 900 marks exam.
- Paper 1: Mathematics- 2 hrs 30 mins
- Paper 2: General Ability- 2hrs 30 mins
Both papers are set in two languages Hindi and English. General Ability paper includes English and General Knowledge topics. Mathematics exam includes topic like Trigonometry, Algebra, Differential Calculus, Vector Algebra, Matrices, Determinants, Integral Calculus, Statistics, and Probability.
