UPSC Recruitment 2019: The Union Public Service Commission has released an official notification and invited applications from the eligible candidates for the post in National Defence Academy and Naval Academy. UPSC Recruitment 2019 – All Important Details In 5 Points
The Union Public Service Commission released the official notification for the NDA Exam and NA Exam on 9th January 2019. The process of filling the online application for the same started on the same date. The candidates can fill the application form till 4th February 2019 as it is the last date to fill the application form. After that, the link to fill the application form will be deactivated.
As the process of filling the application form is 4th Feb 2019 till 6 pm, the procedure of withdrawal of the application form will begin from 8th February 2019. The candidates can withdraw the application form till 14th February 2019. The Union Public Service Commission will release the admit cards for the exam three weeks before the exam date.
According to the official notification released by the Union Public Service Commission for the National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination, there are total 392 vacancies. These vacancies are divided as 342 for the NDA and 50 for the NA. Under the National Defence Academy, there are 208 vacancies in Army, 42 in Navy & 92 in Air Force and 50 in Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme).
The candidates applying for the Army Wing of the National Defence Academy must have passed the 12th class or equivalent examination from the recognized board. The candidates who are going to apply for the Air Force and Naval Wings and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme must have passed the 12th class with Physics & Mathematics from a recognized Board.
There is no application fee for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST category while the candidates of General and OBC category will have to pay Rs 100 as application fee. The last date to pay the application fee is 4th February 2019.
