UPSC Steno/SO Recruitment 2018 Official Notification & Starting Date
According to the Union Public Service Commission examination calendar for 2018, the Commission will release the official notification regarding the UPSC SO/Steno LDCE exam 2018 on 12th September 2018. The process of online application filling will also start from the same date. The last date to fill the application form for the post of Steno/SO in UPSC is 5 October 2018. UPSC will conduct the examination in the month of December (15th). The duration of the exam is 2 days.
UPSC Steno/SO Recruitment 2018 Details
Union Public Service Commission conducts the LDCE (Limited Departmental Competitive Exam) for the recruitment of Section Officers (SO) and Stenographers. This year the official notification and online application will begin on 12th September. Once the official notification will be out, interested candidates can fill the application form on the UPSC website www.upsc.gov.in or on the upsconline.nic.in.
The candidates will be selected by Union Public Service Commission on the basis of the performance in the Limited Departmental Competitive exam and then the interview or Skill Test. The total number of vacancies will be announced in the official notification. The selected candidates who will clear the exam and interview/test will be posted as Section Officers and Stenographers in the various departments.
As of now, there is no information regarding the application fee for the SO/Steno exam but the application fee will be Rs.100. The detailed information will be out with the official notification which will be released by Union Public Service Commission on 12th September.
The selected candidates for the post of Section Officer and Stenographer will get an attractive salary with other benefits too. The selection will be made purely on the basis of performance of candidates. Candidates called for the interview will have to come along with the required documents.
