The UPTET 2018 online application has already begun on the official website that is www.upbasiceduboard.gov.in and is likely to go on till October 5, 2018. Even though not many days have passed but as of now, nearly 1.15 lakh interested candidates have already registered for the exam. The application process for the UPTET 2018 had begun on September 18, 2018.
A massive response has been received since the day the UPTET 2018 online application process has begun. This trend had begun last year and is still in continuation this year. By now, a number of 1.15 lakh applications has been witnessed by the UPTET 2018. As per the published reports, the total number of expected registrations by the interested candidates is likely to reach a figure of 5 lakh applications.

For the UPTET 2018, all the students who have completed their Bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply for the primary level that is from Class 1 to 5. The candidates who are done with the post graduation and B.Ed degree in addition to their graduation are eligible to apply for the Upper Primary Level teaching that is from Class 6 to 8.
It is important to note that as of now, no application correction window by the UPTET 2018 organizing board has been introduced and hence, all the candidates applying for the exam should fill in all the details very carefully before submitting. After submitting, the challan will be generated with the help of the registration number. The application fee for the UPTET 2018 shall be submitted in the Bank. The unreserved category candidates have to pay an amount of Rs. 500/- and those belonging to the ST or SC category have to pay an amount of Rs. 300/-. There stands an exemption of the application fee for the candidates of the PWD category.

A huge number of applications has already been witnessed for the UPTET 2018 Exam. The previous year trend is being followed where more than 3.49 lakh applications were witnessed for the Primary Teacher Level and a number of 6.27 lakh applications were witnessed for the Upper Primary Level Teachers.
