Vijay Mallya’s Kingfisher Villa has finally been sold! This Kingfisher Villa in Goa had failed to find bidders at the previous three auctions. His Kingfisher Villa has been sold to actor and businessman Sachiin Joshi.
Sachiin Joshi paid a marginally higher price for Kingfisher Villa than the last reserve price. The last reserve price of the Kingfisher Villa was 73 crore.
The Kingfisher Villa’s Auction
The sea facing Kingfisher Villa had interested a lot of bidders initially but the reserve price of the lavish Villa was Rs. 85 crore which as a result did not interest the bidders in buying it. Kingfisher Villa’s second bidding failed too even after the price drop from Rs. 85 crore to Rs. 81 crore. The last auction for the Kingfisher Villa took place in March 2017. The reserve price of the villa during the third time was Rs. 73 crore.
The lenders are trying hard to sell liquor tycoon’s luxury Kingfisher House in Mumbai. Vijay Mallya’s Kingfisher Airlines owes the bank whopping amount of Rs. 9,000 crore.
Sachiin Joshi | Kingfisher Villa’s New Owner
Sachiin Joshi, Kingfisher Villa’s new owner is an actor and a businessman. Sachiin Joshi’s debut Bollywood film was Aazan in 2011 which was directed by Prashant Chadha. The movie received mixed reviews and was not a hit at the box office. Sachiin Joshi also starred in Ankush Bhatt’s film Mumbai Mirror and Kaizad Gustad’s comedy thriller film Jackpot. Jackpot and Mumbai Mirror received mixed reviews too. Joshi also acted and produced several films in Telugu film industry. Joshi starred in four films:
- Orey Pandu
- Nee Jathaga Nenundali
- Ninu Choodaka Nenundalenu
- Mounamelanoyi
However, the movies were not a hit and got a 2-star rating at an average. Sachiin Joshi will be seen in Ram Gopal Verma’s upcoming thriller Secret and also in T Satya’sYaar Ivan as a professional kabaddi player.

Sachiin is married to his Urvashi Sharma. The couple got married in 2012 and later Urvashi changed her name to Raina Joshi. Raina is an actress and a model. She made her debut with Abbas-Mastan’s Naqaab in 2008.
