In the telecom price war ahead of the New Year offers Telecom operators – Vodafone India and the latest to join the telecom sector – Jio has launched some new plans in addition to revising some of the existing plans.
Both the telecom operators are offering 1GB daily data to its consumer coupled with unlimited calls. The new plan from both Vodafone and Jio will be monthly plans and will come with a limited validity of 28 days. There will be a daily limit on data usage as well as calling in all the plans from these telecom operators. The newly revised and launched monthly packs from these two telecom companies take on some of the existing Airtel plans. All offers under these packs may vary from circle to circle. Jio Latest 199 Plan
Under the recently launched 199 plan from Jio, the company offers 1.2GB per day data to its consumers. The validity of Jio’s 199 plan is 28 days and the plan comes with unlimited SMS, in addition to unlimited calling on both local as well as STD number. Yes, the operator is also offering free unlimited calling in roaming as well in this plan.
Jio Latest 299 Plan
In the 299 plan from Jio, the telecom operator is offering 2GB daily data to its consumers. Except for the daily data usage limit, rest all the benefits in the 299 plan from Jio remain same as the 199 plan which includes free local and STD calling and free incoming and outgoing calls in roaming. While the 199 plan offers users an approximate 33.6GB 4G data for 28 days to its consumers with a daily limit of 1.2GB, the 299 plan offers a total of 56GB 4G data to its consumer for a period of 28 days.
Vodafone 198 Plan Details
Under the newly updated Vodafone 198 plan the Vodafone users will be able to use free 4G data up to 28GB for a period of 28 days. The 199 plan will carry a daily data limit of 1GB 4G. In addition to free 4G data, the telecom operator is also offering unlimited local as well as STD calls to its consumers. Similar to Jio’s plan, Vodafone’s 198 plan will also offer free incoming and outgoing calls in roaming. This new plan from Vodafone will also come with a validity of 28 days.
Vodafone 229 Plan Details
Vodafone India has also introduced a new 229 plan for its prepaid consumers. The 229 plan also offers similar benefits to that of the 199 plan, but this plan is only valid for the new Vodafone customers. Under the Rs 229 plan, Vodafone users will get unlimited local and national voice calls, 100 SMS per day, and 1GB 4G/3G data per day for a period of 28 days.
