Vodafone has been feeling the pinch in India after the launch of Reliance Jio. The freebies offered by Jio are probably something that made Indian people happy. Reliance Jio has forced the other telecom companies to launch cheaper and more beneficial plans for the users. And this has forced Vodafone India to join the telecom war.
Vodafone has introduced a plan that will offer free high-speed 4G data and voice calls to users.
Vodafone’s New 4G Plan
Reliance Jio has been offering free voice calls and internet data. But Vodafone will not be offering GBs and GBs of free internet data. Vodafone customers can avail 4G data free of cost by buying a new Vodafone Supernet 4G SIM card.
The 4G data will be valid for 10 days for all the Vodafone prepaid customers. The postpaid customers can avail the 4G data till their next billing date. Vodafone has 210 million customers which are twice the number of Reliance Jio users. Vodafone will have to come up with lucrative plans for their customers otherwise the customers will prefer a different connection.
Limitation Of The New Vodafone Offer
The new 4G data offer by Vodafone has a lot of limitations as compared to Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Jio. The Vodafone offer is limited to Mumbai people as all Vodafone 4G sim cards are available across the city. Vodafone aims to give their customers a strong and fast internet connection.
4 GB complementary data will be given to the users and if the Vodafone customers have some unused data in their account they can use it once their complementary data gets finished.
Reliance Jio Is The Real Boss
Though Vodafone has introduced 4 GB complementary data for their users but they still won’t be able to compete with Reliance Jio’s Dhan Dhana Dhan offer. Reliance Jio’s offers are more lucrative as compared to Vodafone’s new offer.
Mukesh Ambani had launched Dhan Dhana Dhan offer where the Jio users will be getting 1GB data per day for three months in a recharge of Rs. 309. It’s a small amount which the Jio users will have to pay and they will be getting 84 GB internet data absolutely free, unlimited SMS and Voice calls, free national roaming, free access to MyJio entertainment and productive apps. Now, that’s too much.
It will be interesting to see how Reliance Jio troubles other telecom companies with their amazing plans.
