After the last year’s launch of Mi 8, Xiaomi has formally launched its Mi 9 which is one of the flagship Xiaomi smartphones in the Chinese market. This smartphone was launched on February 20, 2019, in Beijing, China. Mi 9 has a curved design with a holographic illusion finish which adds more glamour to this smartphone. In addition, Xiaomi has also launched a transparent version of Mi 9 which will grab more attention of the buyers and the smartphone lovers.
Specifications of Mi 9, Mi 9 transparent version and Mi 9 SE
Xiaomi Mi 9 comes with a triple rear camera setup along with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor which adds a unique class to this smartphone. The fingerprint sensor used in this phone is the 5th generation in-display. Besides, this Mi 9 and Mi 9 Transparent Edition is powered by the latest Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC processor coupled with Adreno 640 GPU which will give a game turbo technology experience to the users. Xiaomi Mi 9 runs Android 9.0 pie with MIUI 10.
Coming towards storage and RAM Mi 9 transparent version has 12GB RAM and 128 GB storage space with a transparent black look in its back. Rest it has got a 6.39-inch full HD+ Samsung AMOLED display along with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection which is same in both the variants Mi 9 and Mi 9 transparent version. Xiaomi has provided a 3300 mAh battery to this phone that supports 20W wireless charging alongside 27W wired fast charging support.
In Mi 9 SE a 5.97-inch Samsung AMOLED display is present and it is powered by a Snapdragon 712 SoC, paired with Adreno 616 GPU and 6GB RAM with 64GB and 128 GB storage space. This phone is provided with 3070 mAh battery that support 18w fast charging.
Price of Xiaomi Mi 9, Mi 9 transparent version and Mi 9 SE
The price tag of Xiaomi Mi 9 in China has been set at CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 31,800) for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant, while the 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage option comes at CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs. 34,900). The Xiaomi Mi 9 Transparent Edition carries a price tag of CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs. 42,300). Furthermore, the Mi 9 SE is priced at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 21,200) for the 64GB storage variant, whereas the Mi 9 SE 128GB storage option comes at CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs. 24,350).
