Xiaomi Mi A1 Red Colour Special Edition Launched In India At 13,999 Rupees

Xiaomi Mi A1, Company’s first Android One smart phone was launched in India earlier this year in a series of colours like Black, Gold and Rose Gold. The company launched a Red Colour Special Edition in Philippines earlier this week and now it is available in India too at 13,999 Rupees. The move comes after major manufacturers like Oneplus have been showing the ‘Red’ colour some love. Xiaomi recently slashed the price of the Mi A1 to 13,999 Rupees and the Special Edition Red Colour comes for the same price as well.

Xiaomi Mi A1 now comes in a red colour special edition variant for the first time since it was offered only in black, gold and rose gold colour before. Since Apple offered the iPhone 7 in a bright red colour last year on the World Aids Day, major manufacturers like Oneplus have been following suit. Oneplus too offers their new flagship Oneplus 5T in a red colour in India and China apart from the existing Star Wars Limited Edition.

Xiaomi’s special Red Colour edition is the same Mi A1 underneath and comes with a 4GB RAM coupled to 64GB on board storage. It has a 5.5-inch Full HD display and the performance on the Mi A1 is taken care of by a Snapdragon 625 Octa-Core processor. The company has also equipped the phone with a dual lens setup which makes it the most affordable smart phone with a dual rear camera.

The Xiaomi Mi A1 comes with a 12MP primary camera which is accompanied by another 12MP telephoto lens for capturing more depth and details of the subject.

The Xiaomi Mi A1 Red Colour Edition was launched in Philippines earlier this week and is available in India starting today. You can buy the phone on the official website mi.com/in as well as Amazon.in along with Mi Home Stores and retail partners. Keep in mind that Xiaomi intends to sell limited numbers of the Red Mi A1 and you should pick up yours at the soonest.
