After capturing the majority of Indian smartphone market and the consumer base, Xiaomi has now entered with its fitness product, Mi Band HRX Edition. Endorsing the Xiaomi Mi Band HRX edition, actor Hrithik Roshan has partnered his homegrown brand HRX with the Chinese, Xiaomi Mi, for its launch in India. Hrithik Roshan who himself is a fitness freak was keen to bring in India, a compact device like a fitness band that can monitor the distance covered and the calories burned by the wearer.

Xiaomi Mi Band HRX edition is an adaptation of the Mi Band 2 and has some unique features. The HRX edition of Xiaomi Mi Band looks similar to the Mi Band 2 but stands out as different with an HRX logo embedded on its strap. The Xiaomi Mi Band HRX edition fitness band is powered by a battery life of 23 days and sports an OLED display to show the time, a number of steps taken with an improvised pedometer, distance covered, and burnt calories. The device comes with an intelligence technology that measures the exercise of the wearer. The Xiaomi Mi Band HRX Edition also reminds the one who is wearing it of sitting idle for too long and of taking walks as well as water at regular intervals.

Apart from these the Xiaomi Mi Band HRX edition also keeps a tap on the sleep hours of the wearer, make calls, send notification alerts and is water/ sweat resistant. It can also unlock the paired Android smartphone without the password, face detection or the fingerprint sensor.

However, the device will also be available on Myntra, Amazon, and Flipkart from September 20.
