Xiaomi will launch the next version of MIUI i.e MIUI 10 on 31st May. The new version of MIUI was announced in the month of January this year. The key highlights of the MIUI 10 Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. The new version MIUI 10 will take over the last year launched MIUI 9. The new MIUI version will launch along with the Xiaomi flagship smartphone Mi 8. The phone is also set to launch on May 31st in China.
Xiaomi MIUI 10
Xiaomi is all set to launch the Xiaomi Mi 8 smartphone on 31st May and on the same day the company will launch the new MIUIversionn. Since both are launching on the same day, so it can be expected that the Xiaomi Mi 8 smartphone will have the MIUI 10 in it. The MIUI 10 will replace the MIUI 9, which was launched last year and MIUI 9 replaced the MIUI 8.
As of now, there are no details about the smartphones which will get the MIUI 10 update. But soon it will be available for the phones. Last year when MIUI 9 was launched, it reaches India in the month of November. Xiaomi hasn’t confirmed the list of devices that will get tyhe upgrade. The smartphone maker, however, said that the MIUI 10 (new version) will not support devices who runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
According to the teaser posted o the MIUI Weibo Account, it states that “Faster than Lightning”. To recall, MIUI 9 was launched with a tagline of “As Fast as Lightning”. This new tagline suggests that there will be some changes in the performance and these changes will deliver better user experience.
Xiaomi Mi 8 To Launch on May 31
Along with MIUI 10, Xiaomi will also launch the Xiaomi Mi 8 smartphone. According to the leaked specifications of Xiaomi Mi 8, the smartphone will have a display of 6.2-inches and the resolution of the screen will be 1080×2280 pixels. The phone will have an aspect ratio of 19:9. Earlier there were few reports that suggest a display of 6.01-inches. The phone will have Snapdragon 845 chipset.
According to leaked specifications, the phone will have 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. Earlier the few reports also suggest that there will be 8GB RAM too. The phone will have a dual rear camera with the 20MP primary sensor and a 16MP secondary sensor. And on the front for selfies, there will be a 16MP camera. The battery on the phone is expected to be 3300mAh.
