Xiaomi Breaks Record | Sells More Than 1 Million Smartphones in 2 Days During Flipkart, Amazon Sale

Xiaomi, one of the major phone makers in India, have been able to cash in on the pre-Diwali sales once again. The tech giant has claimed to have sold more than 1 million mobile products in the last 48 hours on Amazon and Flipkart during their Great Indian Sale and the Big Billion Day sale respectively.

The Chinese company, Xiaomi during a press statement, has claimed to have sold more than 300 smartphones every minute between September 20 and September 22. The ongoing sales to lure the customers to buy products online by providing heavy discounts and flash deals have resulted to be a huge success in comparison to the previous year sales where the Chinese Company took over 18 days to sell over 1 million products during the festive sale offers.

“Our careful planning has also ensured that high selling smartphones such as Redmi 4 and Redmi Note 4 are in stock throughout the festive sale. I and the Xiaomi Company are very thankful to all our Mi Fans for their amazing support.”,  stated Raghu Reddy, Head of Online Sales.

According to some of the sources, Flipkart has sold 1.3 million smartphones within the first 20 hours of its Big Billion Day sale which is 2 times the number of smartphones the online shopping platform has sold in the last year’s Big Billion Day sale. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is the highest selling smartphone over the Flipkart’s Big Billion Day. During the press release, the Chinese company has said that eight out of every nine smartphones sold on Amazon was a Xiaomi product.

Xiaomi Redmi 4 and Mi Max 2 along with Mi Router 3C, Mi Air Purifier 2, Mi power banks and company’s audio accessories are up for deals during sales on Flipkart and Amazon. Mi Band – HRX Edition is available at Rs 1,299 on both the e-commerce websites. Redmi Note 4 with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage was available at Rs 9,999 instead of Rs 10,999. The 4GB RAM + 64GB storage option got Rs 2,000 off and it was being sold at Rs 10,999.
