Xiaomi is all set to launch the Redmi 6 series in India. Xiaomi will launch the Xioami Redmi 6, Redmi 6 Pro and Redmi 6A smartphone in India soon. Xiaomi India Managing Director and Xiaomi Global VP Manu Kumar Jain share a tweet regarding the launch of the new smartphone in India. Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A are the successors of the last year launched Redmi 5 and Redmi 5A smartphones. The invite for the launch event which was shared confirms the launch date to 5th September. The launch event will be held in New Delhi.
To recall, Xiaomi launched the Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A smartphone in China in the month of June and after 2 or 3 weeks later the company also launched the Redmi 6 Pro. All these three smartphones will soon see the light in India too. Redmi 5 and Redmi 5A are the popular smartphones in India and Redmi 5A is also known as the Desh Ka Smartphone.
In the tweet, Manu Kumar Jain, Xiaomi India MD has also used the hashtag #IndiaKeNayeSmartphones. The tweet does not confirm the launch of Redmi 6, Redmi 6A and Redmi 6 Pro but the image with number 6 clears it all. The Redmi 6A, Redmi 6 does not come with a display notch while the Redmi 6 Pro has a display notch.

Coming to the specifications of Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro, the smartphone is a dual sim phone and comes with a display of 5.84-inches. The screen resolution is 1080×2280 pixels. The phone also has a display notch. The phone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC. Redmi 6 Pro comes with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage. There is a dual rear camera at back with 12MP and 5MP sensor while on the front there is a 5Mp camera. The battery of the phone is 4000mAh. All these three phones comes with a dedicated microSD card slot.
