Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Gets MIUI 9 Update Along With a Permanent Price Cut of Rs. 1000 in India

Redmi Note 4 and Mi Max 2 receive the MIUI 9 Global Stable ROM Update. The Chinese handset manufacturer Xiaomi has begun the roll out of MIUI 9 update for its selective devices like Redmi Note 4 as well as Mi Max 2. Sticking to a previous revelation by the Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi, the MIUI 9 Global Stable ROM over-the-air (OTA) is restricted to the users of only some of the devices like Redmi Note 4 as well as Mi Max 2. This directly means that the users of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, as well as Mi Max 2 headset users, should either wait for the official OTA update or download and further install the OTA file if they want to use it immediately.

MIUI 9 Update Available On Redmi Note 4 & Mi Max 2

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, as well as Mi Max 2 users by now, must have started to get the notification regarding the MIUI 9 with the help of an OTA update. The fastbooting should only start after the bootloader has been unlocked which can be done by switching off the phone and thus pressing and holding the volume down and power button together. Further the handset should be connected to the PC. The fastboot downloaded ROM should be extracted to a folder on the PC. The Xiaomi users can then open the MiFlash tool and select the clean all option placed in the down right corner of the opened box.

After this, your Redmi Note 4 will start to flash. This will take around 3-5 minutes depending upon the PC as well as the device. It is mandatory for the users to note that they cannot remove the mobile phone once the flashing has started. The mobile phone will reboot with the MIUI 9 update.

Xiaomi’s popular selling mobile handset Redmi Note 4 apart from receiving the MIUI 9 update is also experiencing a permanent price cut of Rs.1,000 in the Indian market. The 3GB+32GB model of the Redmi Note 4 which was earlier available at a price of Rs.10,499 is now available for Rs.9,999 whereas the 4GB+64GB mobile handset model priced at Rs.12,999 will now be available at Rs.11,999.
