MIUI 9.5 Update is coming to Xiaomi Phones | Starts with Redmi Note 5

In the month, of February Xiaomi launched the Xioami Redmi Note 5 smartphone in India. The phone was launched along with the Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphone. The phone was launched with MIUI 9. And now the phone has started receiving the MIUI 9.5 official update. The smartphone has started receiving the Global stable build of MIUI 9.5. The new update brings many new features and bugs fixes.

MIUI 9.5 Update for Xiaomi Redmi Note 5

The new update for Redmi Note 5 comes with a name MIUI 9.5.4.0.NCFMIFA. The MIUI 9.5.4.0.NCFMIFA update for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 brings quick search options, a revamped start page, screen recorder app, many bug fixes, optimized browser kernel and many other updates. The MIUI 9.5 update for Redmi Note 5 will be rolled out for all devices in coming days. Users will get a notification regarding the update.

Alternatively, users can also check manually for the update in the Settings Options. To manually check for the update users will have to go to Settings>About Phone>Phone Updates. Users can also flash the ROM via recovery method which is approximately 1.4GB in size or by a fast boot method which is approximately equal to 2GB in size.

Redmi Note 5 Specifications

Talking about the specifications of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 smartphone, the phone comes with a display of 5.99-inches. The display of the phone is full HD display and comes with a resolution of 1080×2160 pixels and with 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC. It runs on Android Nougat operating system with MIUI 9.

The phone has a 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM. The internal storage of the phone is 32GB and 64GB. Users can expand the internal storage of the phone via microSD card. Redmi Note 5 comes with a 12MP camera on the back with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture. For selfies and video calling, there is a 5MP camera on the front with LED selfie light. At the bac,k panel there is a fingerprint sensor below the camera. The phone comes with a battery of 4000mAh and connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The battery of the phone comes with fast charging technology.
