Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is Not Coming, Replaced by Redmi 5 Plus

It may be heartbreaking for all those who are waiting for the Xaiomi Redmi Note 5 smartphone, the successor of The Most Loved phone Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. The Redmi Note 4 smartphone might not get its successor Redmi Note 5 in the coming year. There are few reports that say that Xiaomi may drop the idea of launching The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5.

Which Phone Is Going to be the Successor of Redmi Note 4

According to a post on Xiaomi MIUI Forums, the smartphone company has decided to drop the idea of launching Redmi Note 5, the successor of Redmi Note 4. And the successor of Redmi Note 4 is already launched in the market. In the reports, it is clearly written that Redmi 5 & Redmi 5 plus are already in the market and they are the new Redmi Note Sized phones.

As of now, there is no official confirmation about the post by the company that whether they are dropping the idea of launching the Redmi Note 5 or planning to launch the phone. Maybe the company will soon announce the launch of phone or not. Earlier there were some leaks too about the Redmi Note 5 smartphone specifications.

Redmi 5 Plus Specifications

Redmi 5 Plus is the latest smartphone of the company in the mid-segment. The phone comes with a display of 5.99 inches and with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels. The aspect ratio of the screen is 18:9. Redmi 5 plus smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and comes with 4GB RAM & 3GB RAM. The internal storage of the phone is 32GB & 64GB.

Coming to the camera specifications, the phone Redmi 5 Plus comes with a 12MP camera with LED flash and for selfies, there is a 5MP camera at front. The front camera of the phone also comes with soft LED flash. At the back of the phone, there is a fingerprint sensor too. Connectivity options on the phone include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 4G LTE.

The smartphone runs on Android Nougat Operating system and comes with company’s MIUI 9 OS. The battery of the phone is 4000mAh and the phone is available to purchase in black, gold, light blue, rose gold colors.
