Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro have been launched in India on 14th February. The two phone are launched in India in two-two variants. The price of Redmi Note 5 starts in India from Rs.9999 and the price of Redmi Note 5 Pro starts in India from Rs.13,999. The first sale of the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphone will start from 22nd February.

Price Difference – Redmi Note 5 smartphone was launched in two variants – 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. The price of 3GB RAM variant is Rs.9,999 and the price of 4GB RAM is Rs,11,999. Whereas Redmi Note 5 Pro is also launched in two variants – 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. The price of 4GB RAM variant is Rs.13,999 and the price of the 6GB RAM variant is Rs.16,999.
RAM & Storage Difference –Redmi Note 5 has 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM and the internal storage is 32GB and 64GB while the Redmi Note 5 Pro only comes in one single storage i.e 64GB. The RAM on the phone is 4GB and 6GB. Both the RAM variant comes with 64GB storage. Users can expand the internal storage via microSD card.
Camera Specifications Difference – Redmi Note 5 smartphone comes with a single camera at back and front. On the back, the phone has a 12MP camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. The front camera of the phone comes with a 5MP camera. The front camera of the phone also has a LED Selfie light to capture low light pictures. On the other hand, Redmi Note 5 Pro has a dual rear camera with a 12MP primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture) and a 5MP secondary sensor with f/2.0 aperture. On the front for clicking selfies, there is a massive 20MP camera with Sony IMX376 sensor. The rear camera and front camera comes with a LED flashlight.
Processor – Redmi Note 5 smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC which is clocked up to 2GHz. The processor is coupled with Adreno 506 GPU and it runs on Android Nougat OS with MIUI 9. The Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 636 processor and it is the first phone in the world that comes with Snapdragon 636 processor.
