Last week Xiaomi launched its first S series smartphone, Xiaomi Redmi S2 in China. The phone was launched in China on May 10. The biggest highlight of the phone is the Android Oreo 8.1 operating system, a 16MP front camera with AI feature, and Dual Rear camera. The phone comes with Xiao AI voice Assistant and with face unlock feature.
Xiaomi Redmi S2 to Launch in India? Expected Price
It is known to everyone that Xiaomi smartphones are loved in the country more as compared to any other. Xiaomi has a huge fan following in India. Earlier this year, Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphone first in India and then it was launched in China. Almost every phone launched in China is also launched in India with some time gap and now it is expected too that the Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi will also launch the Redmi S2 smartphone in India.
As this is a new series smartphone, so the company may take some time to launch the phone Xiaomi Redmi S2 in India but it will not take so much time. Soon the Xioami Redmi S2 smartphone will see the light in India too. The new phone Redmi S2 might take over the Xioami Redmi Note 5 & Redmi 5 (both launched recently in India). Xiaomi has teased the poster of new phone and it might be Xiaomi Redmi S2.
Expected Price Redmi S2 in India: The new S series smartphone, Xiaomi Redmi S2 is launched in China in two variants. The price of Redmi S2 with 3GB RAM is CNY 999 which is equal to Rs.10,600 and the price of Redmi S2 with 4GB RAM is CNY 1299 which is equal to Rs.13,700. Talking about what will be the price of the Xiaomi Redmi S2 in India, the phone is expected to come with the same price tag in India.
Features of Xiaomi Redmi S2 That Make it a Perfect Phone
– The phone comes with a display of 5.99-inches which is similar to the display of Redmi Note 5 and bigger than the display of Redmi 5. Although there is a difference in the screen resolution. Redmi S2 has a 720×1440 pixels resolution while the Redmi Note 5 has 1080×2160 pixels and Redmi 5 owns same resolution i.e 720×1440 pixels. All the three comes with an 18:9 display.
– The phone comes with a 3GB RAM and also with a 4GB RAM. The internal storage of the phone is 32GB and 64GB. The biggest highlight of the phone is its dedicated microSD card slot. See, this is the difference between Redmi S2 and Redmi Note 5, Redmi 5. Redmi 5 and Redmi Note 5 doesn’t come with a dedicated microSD card slot. This is a positive point of the phone that makes it different with Redmi 5 and Redmi Note 5.
– The phone has a dual rear camera at the back. The design of the dual camera at the back of the Redmi S2 smartphone is just similar to the design of the rear camera of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. The phone comes with a 16MP primary sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor. On the front, for selfies and video calling, there is a 16MP camera which comes with AI Smartp beauty, Face Unlock feature and AI Portrait Mode.
