Yamaha Fazer 250 Spotted in India | Check Features and Launch date

According to reports, Yamaha Motor India may soon launch its Fazer 250 in India. The Yamaha Fazer 250 is expected to be launched in India around the festive season. In the past few months, the Yamaha Fazer 250 has been spied multiple times being tested in different cities on different roads in India. The upcoming motorcycle Yamaha Fazer 250 had been recently spied and the news has ignited the spark amid the Yamaha fans.

Specifications of the Yamaha Fazer 250 

The Yamaha Fazer 250 has been seen in dual tone shades. The glimpse of the Yamaha Fazer 250 suggests that the Yamaha Fazer 250 will share most of its components and design with the FZ25. When it comes to power, the Yamaha Fazer 250 will get its power by the FZ25’s 249cc four-stroke, fuel-injected single cylinder engine which is air-cooled. This unit of the Yamaha Fazer 250 will generate 20.6 hp of power at 8,000 rpm. Paired with a five-speed gearbox, the engine will pump 20 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. The Yamaha Fazer 250 will use the same diamond frame chassis which is already being used in the FS25. Besides a telescopic fork in the front and motocross swing-arm with adjustable preload at the rear, the Yamaha Fazer 250 will get a hydraulic single disc brake at both ends.

Adding to the styling of the Yamaha Fazer 250 the bike has been equipped with LED headlamp and tail lamp. The digital instrumentation that displays fuel consumption, clock and speedometer will add to the style quotient of the Yamaha Fazer 250.

Price and Launch date

There has been no official announcement from Yamaha regarding the price of Yamaha Fazer 250. With striking features and more power, the Yamaha Fazer 250 is expected to be priced a little higher than the existing FZ25.

Other Features of the Yamaha Fazer 250 

As per reports the Yamaha Fazer 250 is believed to support split seats, silver inserts on the exhaust and a single-piece handlebar. With most of the bike manufacturers offering ABS as a safety feature the Yamaha Fazer 250 too is expected to get an optional ABS (Anti-lock Braking System).The increase in the overall weight of the Fazer 250 which is believed to be about 10 – 15 kilograms more than the FZ25, the Yamaha Fazer 250 is going to be a sturdy mean machine on the roads.

Positioned in the premium segment the new Yamaha Fazer 250 will compete with the likes of the Bajaj Pulsar 220, Kawasaki Z250 and the KTM 250 Duke.
