Amid speculations about the hatchback’s arrival in India, finally, the all-new Swift is about to debut in the Indian auto industry. Earlier, it was being speculated that the largest car manufacturer in India will unveil the car in 2017 but the hatchback missed out hitting the roads in India by 2017. Just a few days left for the official launch, here are all the details of the all-new hatchback- Maruti Suzuki Swift.
Bookings for all-new Maruti Suzuki Swift to start
The much-awaited, next-generation Swift is all set to be launched in India by the major car manufacturer. The car was earlier slated to be launched in late 2017 but, the launch got postponed. Finally, here’s some good news for all the car enthusiasts in the country. According to the report, the car makers have revealed the launch date of the all-new Swift in India.
It has been reported that pre-bookings for the next generation Swift 2018 is going to kick-start in the third week of January at the authorized Maruti Suzuki dealerships. The report further mentions that the much-awaited car will be launched officially at the upcoming Auto Expo 2018 scheduled in the month of February.
Price and other specifications of the all-new Maruti Suzuki Swift
Several price brackets are being speculated for the much-awaited Maruti Suzuki hatchback as the carmaker has not yet fixed a particular amount for the most awaited car from its stable. Since, most of the Maruti Suzuki cars have been economically priced; the all-new Swift is likely to be priced between Rs 5 lakh – Rs 8 lakh (Ex-showroom price).
After the official launch, the next-generation Maruti Suzuki Swift will lock horns with the likes of Hyundai Grand i10, Ford Figo, Tata Tiago. The Maruti Suzuki Swift will be positioned below the premium hatchback Baleno.
The carmaker has not yet officially announced, but it has been reported that the new Swift might unveil the AMT variant of the new Swift.
