Recently, the Uttar Pradesh Board of High School & Intermediate Education (UP Board) has released a notification of uploading the evaluated examination papers of all the toppers in class 10 (high school) and 12 (intermediate) online on its official website, from this year i.e. 2018.
The results of class 10 and 12 board examination 2018 are likely to be out online by the end of this month. All candidates who have appeared in the annual board examinations this academic year can check their results online at upresults.nic.in and upmspresults.up.nic.in.
UP Board 2018 result date & direction by state’s education minister
The high school and the intermediate results of UP board are likely to be out on April 29 by 12: 30 pm. However, the notification released, mentioned that the board will put the answer copies of all the toppers of high school and intermediate on display on the UP board’s official website within 10 days of the results being declared. The same was directed by Uttar Pradesh education minister, Dinesh Singh.
The reason behind taking such a decision by the UP board was to help other students who are preparing for the paper. The board is of the opinion that the answer copies of the toppers if displayed on its official website can be easily accessed by one and all, while the answers written on them will give others the idea of how to attempt the paper while keeping a track on time.
Steps to check UP board class 10 & 12 results online
To check the UP board high school (class 10) and intermediate (class 12) examination results 2018 candidates will have to first log on to its official website upresults.nic.in or upmspresults.up.nic.in. Now click on the link of Class 10 Result or Class 12 Result 2018 followed by entering the candidates’ roll number and other details as and where required. Now submit it and there you can see your result online on your computer screen. Students are requested to save it, download and take its printout for future use.
This year, a total of 66,37,018 students had registered themselves for class 10 (high school) and class 12 (intermediate) examinations out of which 11,28,250 students dropped from appearing in the paper due to strict rules to keep off using any unfair means. Other than examination centres, the evaluation centres across Uttar Pradesh also followed strict rules this time.
The evaluation centres were installed with CCTVs that were checking copies of class 10 and 12 students. The cameras were set up to beef up the tight security, to have total transparency while checking of copies and to keep the education mafia at bay who is a threat for any sort disturbances.
