ESE Mains 2017 result has recently been announced by the Union Public Service Commission i.e. UPSC which is the conducting authority of Engineering Services Examination that is held annually. With its recent update in the form of official notification put up at the official website of the Commission announcing the important dates regarding the ESE 2017 with the listed number of vacancies as mentioned against each category and discipline along with the ‘Important Instructions’ on the official website of upsc.gov.in.
ESE Mains Exam 2017 Notification
Post the announcement of ESE 2017 Mains examination result, the official notification as released in the last week of June deals with notifying candidates about the ‘DAF’ also called as the ‘Detailed Application Form’ for ESE 2017 exam conducted by the UPSC. Candidates who have cracked the ‘Mains Examination’ of ESE 2017 are supposed to complete the formalities as notified by the Commission via its website online. Candidates are advised to submit their preferences, personal details and priority list of vacancies wherein they want to get recruited by a specific department under the Government of India.
ESE Mains 2017 ‘Detailed Application Form’
The detailed application form has been put up online for the candidates who have qualified the written Mains examination of ESE 2017 this year and here are the details :

ESE Mains 2017 : Vacancy List
Candidates must check the vacancy list which has been revised by the Union Public Service Commission. Conducted for all the categories and mainly Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and the Electrical Engineering, ESE 2017 has been the most sought after examination by UPSC this year. Ministry of Power and Ministry of Commerce & Industry has revised its number of vacancies to recruit the Grade ‘B’ officers for the Electrical Engineering candidates and Indian Inspection Services for Electronics and Communication regarded as NIL. Therefore, these divisions this year via ESE 2017 are no longer participating in the recruitment process for the candidates who had appeared for the ESE 2017 examination by UPSC this year.
Candidates must keep a tab on the UPSC official website and keep them updated with the latest notices and amendments introduced by the Commisison vide official notices released online.
