Asus in association with the telecom carrier Verizon launched Asus ZenFone V series of the smartphone in the US, recently. The new smartphone models launched by Asus are V520KL in which V stands for Verizon but not the number 5 as ZenFone V is already existing in the market. It is speculated that the Asus ZenFone Verizon will not hit the market of any other country except the US where it is first launched.
Specifications & features of Asus ZenFone V
Talking about the specifications and features of the Asus ZenFone V, the smartphone sports 10-fingers capacitive touch sensor and weighs 147 grams with the measurement of 146.5×72.6×7.6mm. The Asus ZenFone V features a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080×1920) AMOLED display along with a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass. The phone is powered by 4GB of RAMwith 32 GB internal storage that can be further expanded through microSD card (up to 256 GB) and supported by 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 820 SoC. The Asus ZenFone V runs on ZenUI 3.0, which is based on Android 7.0 Nougat.
The smartphone Asus ZenFone V houses a rear camera for primary photography of 23-megapixel with a f/2.0 aperture, 4-axis OIS, laser autofocus, EIS, PixelMaster camera modes for clicking pictures in low-light, selfie, panorama, beautification or any other mode while the front camera is of 8-megapixels with an aperture of f/2.0. Asus ZenFone V comes with an additional feature of Bluetooth connectivity of 4.2, GPS, WiFi Direct, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, A-GPS, USB Type C, 4G, 3G and more.
The smartphone device houses a 3000mAh battery with support for PowerDelivery 2.0 via USB-C and its sensors include a proximity sensor, ambient light, accelerator, gyroscope and other features.
Price of Asus ZenFone V
During the launch of the Asus ZenFone V, the company did not officially announce the price of the smartphone. Though the ZenFone V is already listed on the official website of Asus, the company is yet to reveal its exact price and availability both online and offline. However, some of the experts are speculating the cost of the Asus ZenFone V to be somewhere upto Rs 20,000, approximately. As per the listing on the official website, Asus ZenFone V handset will be available in just one colour i.e Sapphire Black during its sale.
