After giving a free annual subscription of Amazon Prime to its customers, Bharti Airtel Limited has now planned to give a free Hotstar subscription to the users of Airtel TV. Lately, Airtel TV has joined hands with Hotstar for a strategic partnership to offer streaming content to its existing users across India. From 350 plus LIVE TV channels to over 10000 movies across the globe, the Airtel TV users will now be able to access a catalog of 3000 plus movies, 22 channels, and exclusive shows, under this partnership.

Hotstar is one of India’s leading digital broadcasters who is now Airtel TV streaming partner and will help the company to expand its reach in length and breadth like never before. The alliance between the two giants is done just to bring the services of Airtel TV and Hotstar under one umbrella and enhance the experience of the consumer. Both Airtel and Hotstars intents to change the history of Indian television and its viewership via this collaboration.
The company has taken the decision of the tie-up with the Hotstar after receiving a positive response from the consumers. Both the parties, Airtel TV and Hotstar, are anticipating long-term association with each other now and keep entertaining its users with rich digital content and plans to keep on adding such unique features to television viewing with improvisation and innovations.

The free subscription of Hotstar will only be given to all the Airtel customers. To view the exclusive programmes and live sports on Hotstar, the users will have to download the latest version of Airtel TV app. Users of the Airtel TV app can enjoy free content until June 2018. Prior to this, Airtel had announced free annual subscription of the Amazon Prime to its postpaid and broadband customers.
Last year, a similar tie-up between Reliance Jio and Hotstar took place showcasing to over 432 channels LIVE and was made available in 15 different languages. Due to the collaboration Reliance, Jio TV could receive digital telecasting rights of the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018. Hotstar houses over 100,000 hours of content available for its subscribers in 9 different languages along with exclusive shows, live sports and shows from the television channels of Star network.
