UPSC CDS II Exam 2018: Union Public Service Commission has released the official notification for the UPSC Combined Defence Services Exam 2018. UPSC CDS Exam 2018 – Instructions to Fill Application Form
The online application process for the Union Public Service Commission CDS Exam has started online on the website of UPSC. The candidates who want to apply will make sure that they read all the instructions carefully. The candidates can only apply on the website www.upsconline.nic.in. Candidates are advised to fill all entries correctly and selecting options. The fields marked with * in the CDS 2018 application form are compulsory.
Once the online application form for the CDS II Exam 2018 will be submitted, candidates won’t be eligible to make any changes in the application form. The candidates must retain the mobile number and email Id entered in the online form for the CDS II exam 2018. Candidates can fill the application form in English only, however, the form is available in the Hindi language also.
The filling of the UPSC CDS II 2018 exam application form consists of two steps – Part 1 Registration and Part 2. In the first part, candidates will have to enter the basic information. In the Part 2 Registration, candidates will have to select the examination centre, uploading of Signature & payment of application fee. Candidates can pay the application fee via SBI net banking or by cash in SBI or via credit card & debit card.
UPSC CDS II Exam 2018 Details
The Union Public Service Commission has invited application from all eligible candidates for the various courses. In Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, there are 100 vacancies, 45 vacancies in Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, 32 vacancies in Air Force Academy, Hyderabad—(Pre-Flying, 225 vacancies in officers’ Training Academy, Chennai (Madras)—110th SSC (Men) and 12 vacancies in Officers Training Academy, Chennai—24th SSC Women.
The online application process started on 8th August 2018 and the last date to fill the application form is 3rd September 2018. The candidates are advised to fill the application form online on upsconline.nic.in on or before 3rd September 2018. The application fee for the CDS II Exam 2018 is Rs.200 for general and OBC candidates. There is no fee for the Women, SC, ST category.
