SAIL Recruitment 2018: Last month i.e in November, SAIL (Steel Authority of India Limited) released an official notification regarding the recruitment of candidates for the post of Operator cum Technician and Attendant cum Technician posts. Along with the notification, SAIL also invited applications from the candidates for the same. Now, only two days left for the application form filling and candidates who haven’t filled the form yet are advised to do the same on or before the last date. Here are the details.
SAIL Recruitment 2018 – Last Date To Apply For various Posts Tomorrow
Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) released the notification for the various posts in November. The process of filling the application form started on 15th November 2018. December 14th, 2018 is the last date to fill application form. The candidates are advised that if they want to fill the application form then fill it on or before the 14th December.
After the last date, the link to apply online for the post will be deactivated and candidates won’t be able to fill the application form. The admit card release date and the examination date will be notified later on the official website of SAIL. Once the admit cards will be released, the candidates can download the admit cards from the official website.
SAIL Recruitment 2018 – Vacancies & Other Details
This recruitment process of SAIL is for the IISCO Steel Plant. As per the official notification released by Steel Authority of India Limited, there are total 156 vacancies for all the posts. For the Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) (S-3), there are 126 vacancies and for the Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) (S-1), there are 30 vacancies.
There are total 64 vacancies for General Category, 28 for SC category, 7 for ST category and 27 for the OBC category for the post of Operator-Cum-Technician posts and 17 vacancies for the General Category, 6 for SC category, 1 for ST and 6 for OBC category for the post of Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) (S-1).
For Operator-cumTechnician (Trainee) posts, the education qualification required are Matriculation and 3 years full time Diploma in Engineering in specified trade. For the Attendant-cumTechnician(Trainee), the education qualification required are Matriculation and ITI (full time) in required trade. Fro the post of Operator cum Technician, the application fee is Rs 250 for General and OBC. Rest other category candidates are exempted from fee. For the Attendant cum Technician post, the application fee is Rs 150 for General and OBC.
