SSC CPO Exam 2018: Staff Selection Commission will soon release the exam dates for the SSC CPO Exam 2018 on the official website. Recently SSC released an official notice regarding the exam dates for three exams and in the same notice the Commission also said that soon the exam dates for the SSC CPO Exam (SI in Delhi Police, CAPFs and ASI in CISF Examination, 2018) will be released soon on the official website. Here are the details regarding the SSC CPO 2018 Exam.
SSC CPO Exam 2018 Exam Date
Earlier this year, the Staff Selection Commission released the official notification regarding the CPO Exam on the official website and started the procedure of filling the application form. The Commission released the notification for the exam in March. The application form filling process was closed in April month. As per the official notification of the CPO Exam, the exam was scheduled to be held in the month of June.
But in the month of May last week, Staff Selection Commission released the notice regarding the exam. The Commission postponed the exam and said that the new dates regarding the exam will be announced soon. And now in December, the Commission said in a notice that the exam dates for Paper 1 will soon be available on the official website.
SSC CPO Exam
Staff Selection Commission conducts the CPO Exam for the post of SI in Delhi Police, SI in CAPF, and ASI in CAPF. As per the official notification, there are total 1330 vacancies. The vacancies are for the post of SI (male & female), SI and ASI. For the male candidates, there are total 97 vacancies and for the female candidates, there are 53 vacancies. And for the SI in CAPF, there are total 1180 vacancies. At the time of the release of notification, there were no details regarding the vacancies of ASI in CISF.
The Staff Selection Commission conducts the exam in three stages i.e Paper 1, PST/PET and Paper 2. The candidates who will clear the Paper 1 will go through the PST/PET and then Paper 2. After the Paper 2, the medical examination will be conducted. Candidates who have filled the application form for the SSC CPO Exam 2018 are advised to keep an eye on the website of Staff Selection Commission (SSC) i.e https://ssc.nic.in for any update regarding the same.
