Honor has launched a new smartphone called the Honor Play 8A in China. The smartphone is the sucessor of the last year launched Honor 7A. The smartphone was earlier expected to launch as Honor 8A. The new phone was launched in two variants in China. The biggest highlights of the phone include the waterdrop display notch, Mediatek P35 processor, 3GB RAM, and 64GB storage. Honor Play 8A Price and Variants
The company has launched only two variants of the smartphone. Both the variants come with a 3GB RAM and the only difference is in the storage of the phone. The first variant of the Honor Play 8A smartphone comes with the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage and is priced at CNY 799 which is approximately equal to Rs 8000.
The second variant of the phone comes with the 3GB RAM and 64GB storage and the price of this variant is CNY 999 which is approximately equal to Rs 10200. The phone is launched in three colors – Aurora Blue, Platinum Gold and Magic Night Black. There are no details regarding the launch of the smartphone Honor Play 8A in other countries including India.
Honor Play 8A Specifications
Moving to the specifications of the newly launched Honor Play 8A smartphone, the phone bears a display of 6.09-inches with the screen resolution of 720×1560 pixels. There is a waterdrop display notch on the screen. The successor of the Honor 7A smartphone is powered by an n octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 (MT6765) processor. There is a 3GB RAM on the phone with internal storage of 32GB and 64GB. With the use of microSD card slot, the internal storage can be expanded further up to 512GB.
Talking about the camera of the phone, Honor Play 8A has a single rear camera at the back. The back camera of the phone comes with a 13MP camera sensor with f/1.8 aperture and PDAF. There is a LED flash also at the back of the phone. For the video calling and the selfie purpose, the phone has an 8MP camera on the front with an f/2.0 aperture. The battery of the Honor Play 8A smartphone is 3020mAh.
