AFCAT Recruitment 2018: Last month Indian Air Force released an official notification for the AFCAT Recruitment 2018 Exam. On 15th of June, the online application process for the Air Force Common Admission test Started. AFCAT Recruitment Exam – Important Details
The online application form filling for the AFCAT 2018 Exam started on 16th June 2018. The last date to fill the application form is 15th July 2018. Candidates can pay the application fee til 15th July. All candidates who want to apply for the AFCAT exam 2018 and haven’t applied yet must apply before the last date,
The application fee for all the candidates is Rs.250. This application fee is for the AFCAT Entry. There is no application fee for NCC Special Entry and Meteorology Entry. Candidates can pay the application fee online via credit card, debit card, net banking or via challan.
The Age limit for the Flying Branch is 20-24 years. the age limit for the Ground Duty Technical is 20 to 26 years. The age limit for the Ground Duty Non-Technical is 20-26 years. The age limit for the NCC Special Entry Flying Branch is 20-24 years and the age limit for the Meteorology Entry Ground Duty Non Technical branch is 20-26 years.
The minimum education qualification for the Flying Branch is Graduation from any discipline with minimum 60% marks and the candidate must have passed the Physics & Maths with minimum 60% marks in 12th class. For the Ground Duty Technical Branch, candidates must be a Graduate in Engineering & technology and candidates must have passed 12th class with at least 60% marks in Physics & Maths.
The candidates will be selected on the basis of the Written test and SSB Interview. For the male candidates the minimum height required is 157.5 cm and for the female candidates, the minimum height required is 152 cm. Male candidates will have to cover 1.6 km in 10 minutes and 10 push-ups and 3 chin ups.
