CBSE Class 12th Economics Board Re-exam is scheduled on April 25, 2018. Students of Class XII Commerce stream across the nation shall appear for re-test of Economics exam after its alleged leak. As per the CBSE Class 12th board exam date sheet 2018, the last exam was on April 13th for Physical Education. Now, because of the re-test decision, the students have to wait till April 25, 2018 for their Class 12th CBSE Board Exams 2018 to get over. The shocking exam leak case and post the same re-test decision has certainly shaken the candidates off from their complacency.

CBSE To Scrap Class 12th Economics Board Re-exam 2018? Know Details 

Soon after the alleged leak of CBSE Class 10th Maths & Class 12th Economics board exam 2018, authorities decided to re-conduct the tests. CBSE had dropped the Class 10th Maths exam re-test decision soon after. The decision to conduct CBSE Class 12th Economics Board Re-exam 2018 stood firm.

Shashi Tharoor, who is a Senior Congress leader has urged the authorities to drop the decision for Class 12th students. He has requtested Prakash Javadekar to exempt Class 12th students on ‘compassionate grounds’ from appearing for the CBSE Class 12th Economics Board Re-exam 2018 on April 25th.

Central Board of Secondary Education had dropped Class 10th maths re-test decision. Considering it to be an internal exam for school students for promoting to Class XI, CBSE scrapped the same. While for Class 12th students it was an altogether different scenario.

CBSE states Class 12th Economics Board Re-exam 2018 is essential for students. The marks obtained in CBSE Class 12th board exams serve as gateway to various other higher education institutions. CBSE is advocating against dropping the decision of holding the Economics test again.

Shashi Tharoor in a letter written to MHRD also stated that time-bound inquiry should be done to nab the culprits. Exemption of students from appearing for the CBSE Class 12th Economics Board Re-exam 2018 could be a possibility then. He even went on to say that students have worked very hard. Subjecting them to such pressure is unfair and unethical to the fundamental principle too.

No such official word in regard of scrapping the re-test is out yet. Let us wait and watch what CBSE as an efficient conducting body for various exams has in store for Class XII Commerce students this year. We wish students all the best for the tests.
