Airtel 499 Plan Takes on Jio 509 Plan With 40GB Data & Unlimited Calls

After the launch of various prepaid plans now Bharti Airtel is focusing on the postpaid segment and now the Airtel has launched its plan 499 that offers users 40GB of data with calling benefits. Not the data and calling benefits the plan also offers many other benefits too. This plan of Airtel gives direct competition to Jio 509 plan. Airtel 499 Plan Details

The Airtel Postpaid Plan 499 offers free unlimited calls to anywhere in India. There is no restriction, no FUP on calls. Calls made in roaming are also free. All incoming and outgoing roaming calls are free. The plan also offers 40GB of 4G data. There is no daily data usage limit in the plan 499. Users can use the data at any time.

Apart from this, the plan offers 100 Free SMS per day. This plan also offers Free Amazon Prime membership. Users who will go with this plan will get free Amazon Prime Membership for 1 year which actually costs Rs.999 for one year. The plan also offers handset damage protection and Free Airtel Secure options. Also, the user will get free Norton Antivirus with this plan. The plan comes with data rollover benefits in which the unused data will be carried forward to next billing cycle.

Jio 509 Plan Details 

Reliance Jio 509 postpaid plan offers unlimited free calls. All calls are totally free in this plan. This plan is just like the Jio prepaid plan. There is no limit on the calls like the daily FUP or restriction. The 509 plan of Jio for postpaid users offers 60GB data. The daily data usage limit in this plan is 2GB. The pack of Jio does not offer any free Amazon prime membership and data rollover.

Jio 509 Plan Vs Airtel 499 Plan

There is no difference in calling benefits. Both the plans are totally same in terms of calling. The data benefit in the Jio plan is more but there is a daily usage limit. And also if you left with the unused data then there is no option to take to the next billing cycle. But in case of Airtel, the unused data can be moved forward to the next billing cycle. Airtel plan 499 or above also offers free Amazon Prime Membership and Airtel secure.
