Bharti Airtel has revised its Rs.799 plan to provide a lucrative data offer to its customers this new year. The telecom giant is now offering more data and free calling benefits in its 799 plan. Airtel has gifted its customers with 3.5GB daily 3G/4G data along with unlimited local and STD calls. In addition to this, it also offers 100 local and national SMS daily.
Airtel 799 Vs Jio 799 Plan
Airtel launched the Rs.799 plan last year but offered only 3 GB data with unlimited calling and 100 SMS. Now the company has updated its 799 plan and is offering 3.5 GB daily data with the same calling and SMS benefits. Airtel has updated the plan to counter the Jio’s 799 plan that offers 3GB daily 4G data along with unlimited calls and SMS which means a total of 84 GB data in 28 days. This means Airtel is offering 0.5 GB more daily data as compared to Reliance Jio at the same price.
However, Jio 799 plan is better for those who want unlimited local and STD calling as Airtel restricts the calling to 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week. The restriction is applied by Airtel on both the local and STD calling facility. However, Airtel offers Rs.75 cashback to its customers who recharge their numbers through Airtel Payments bank.
Airtel 349 and Airtel 509 plan
For those who don’t want to spend Rs.799 but want to avail similar benefits, there are some other recharge plans. Customers who want daily 1GB data can recharge with the Rs.509 pack, in which they will get 1GB daily data and unlimited local & STD calls with a validity of 84 days. This is the best recharge pack in terms of benefits and validity.
For the customers who want daily data more than 1GB but don’t want to spend Rs.799 per month, Airtel has a Rs.349 recharge plan which offers 2GB of daily data. Moreover, Airtel’s 349 plan also offers unlimited free local and STD calling with a validity of 28 days while in Rs.799 plan the calling facility is restricted to 250 minutes per day.
With Reliance Jio coming up with lucrative new plans every month, Airtel, Vodafone and Idea are now offering plans with similar benefits to beat the competition. Almost every customer has a plan for his calling and data needs.
