Once again, superstar Akshay Kumar’s name has managed to hit the headlines. This time though, it is in context to his two big movies which will be releasing early in 2018. Akshay Kumar who is a part of two big projects namely ‘Padman’ as well as ‘2.0’ which are tentatively scheduled to be released around Republic Day in 2018 were reportedly facing a clash in context to the release. Amid the rumors which surrounded actor Akshay Kumar, a recent interview with him has cleared all the air of doubts and rumors.
No Clash Of Release Dates Of His Movies Says Akshay Kumar
Akshay Kumar who recently was seen along with Rajnikant Sir for the music release of their much awaited big budget Tamil venture titled as ‘2.0’, is also busy with another movie which is also being produced by his wife – Twinkle Khanna titled as ‘Padman’. Recently, both the movies as well as the actor were covered with rumors that both the movies of actor Akshay Kumar will be releasing on the same weekend that is the Republic Day weekend in 2018. The movies were rumored to be a clash at the box office.
In one of the movies, Akshay Kumar was portraying a ‘good’ character whereas in the other one, Khiladi Kumar will be seen showcasing an ‘evil’ side. So, there would tentatively be a clash of good versus the bad. But all of it ended recently, when Akshay Kumar cleared the air by saying that he would not be having a clash of two of his own films as it would not bring any good to him. Well judged and said!
Akshay Kumar To Postpone Release Dates To Avoid Movie Clash
Akshay Kumar has 2 huge projects which are lined up for a release in the first quarter of 2018. ‘2.0’ is Akshay Kumar’s collaboration with Rajnikanth Sir and Lyca Productions whereas ‘Padman’ stars Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor with Akshay Kumar. ‘2.0’ was supposed to be released on 25th Jan but as of now nothing has been finalized. Akshay Kumar, on the other hand is keen on releasing any one of his movies on Republic Day.
So as per the sources, if Rajnikanth Sir and Lyca Productions book Republic Day 2018 for the release of the sci fi thriller ‘2.0’, Akshay will shift the release of ‘Padman’ and if the movie ‘2.0’ does not hit the theaters in January, Akshay Kumar’s fans can expect ‘Padman’ movie’s release by then which is a production of his wife – Twinkle Khanna.
