APSET 2017 Examination: Answer Key Will be Out on August 10 | Check Exam Pattern Here

Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (APSET) 2017 preliminary examination key will be released by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on August 10, 2017. The APSET examination was held on July 30, 2017.  All the candidates who appeared for Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test 2017 need to keep a strict watch on the official website of APSET www.apset.net.in.

As per the notification on the official website of AP SET 2017 the primary keys of APSET 2017 will be displayed on 10th August 2017 while the final answer keys will be displayed on 20th August 2017. The results will be processed as per the UGC new guidelines.

APSET 2017

Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (APSET) is conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam for recruiting candidates for the position of professors. The State Eligibility Test (SET) is based on the pattern of the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC.  The APSET 2017 examination is conducted in 31 subjects for which the University Grants Commission (UGC) has granted permission. The examination is conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on behalf of the government of Andhra Pradesh. Candidates who appeared for APSET 2017 can check out the preliminary answer keys on  www.apset.net.in.

Andhra Pradesh has 26 Universities, 146 government degree colleges, 1192 aided and unaided degree colleges. The candidates give APSET for recruitment to the position of professors in various colleges. Looking over to high demand of recruitment of Assistant professors and lecturers in universities, Andhra University has come up with a proposal to conduct the APSET examination. UGC has approved the proposal of Andhra University and granted accreditation to University for the conduct of  State eligibility test (SET) examinations.

Andhra University Paper Pattern 

APSET examination question paper 1 is common for all the candidates appearing for APSET is bi-lingual (English and Telugu). The second and third question paper was bilingual for specific subjects such as Economics, Political Science, Commerce, Public Administration, Social Work, History and Sociology.

The Andhra University was established as a residential teaching- cum-affiliating University in the year 1926. Sir CR Reddy is founder Vice chancellor and Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan as the second Vice-Chancellor at this 89-year-old institution.
