The best part of the plan is that there is no restriction in the free calling (Daily or weekly calling limits). The plan now competes with the newly launched Vodafone and Idea prepaid Plan 169. Airtel 169 prepaid plan is an open market plan. The plan is listed on the website of Airtel and on the My Airtel app. The plan comes with free and unlimited calls without any daily or weekly calling limit. All the STD calls, all the local calls and all the incoming/outgoing roaming calls are free in the plan. All roaming calls are free in the plan.
In terms of data usage, prepaid users of Airtel will get total 28GB data in the plan. This plan is the best plan of Airtel which offers 1GB data per day along with free calls and SMS. In terms of SMS, users will get total 100 free SMS per day. On the website of Airtel, there is one more plan listed. The plan is 179 plan. This is not sure whether the plan is available for all users or selected users.
In the Airtel prepaid plan 179, Airtel is offering similar benefits like the Airtel 169 plan but users will get 1GB extra data in the plan. The plan offers 1GB data per day along with free and unlimited calls. In this plan, users will also get free SMS (100 per day).
Airtel plan 169 competes with the Vodafone and Idea Plan 169 that offers similar benefits. The best thing in the Airtel plan that makes it better is that there is no limit on calling. Vodafone and Idea Plan 169 comes with the daily and weekly calling limits. Airtel has recently revised the prepaid plan 199 and started offering 100MB extra data per day. The plan was earlier offering 1.4GB data per day and now the plan offers 1.5GB data per day.
