Forget Jio 4G, BSNL to Start 5G Trials in India by March 2018

BSNL to start its 5G trials in India soon from 2018. The state run telecom company, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) is gearing up to take a leap ahead of post Jio 4G services and launch BSNL 5G mobile internet service and broadband in India. Recently, BSNL has tied up with a US-based company, Coriant to bring 5G services in India at the earliest in 2017-2018. Till now, it is jio which has numerous users on its 4G service.

Not only this, it is also speculated that BSNL in India is also in talks with Nokia to get associated with this project and will collaborate in bringing BSNL 5G in India latest by next year i.e March 2018. As published in one of the newspapers, the Chairman and Managing Director of BSNL in India is also trying for the alliance with HP and Larsen & Toubro to get the 5G service equipment and get the network path built in India. It is Jio that started 4G services in India at a new level. Now, almost all operators including Airtel, Vodafone and Idea and giving 4G plans at competitive rates. But nothing will be able to stand in front of BSNL 5G, once it gets rolling.

BSNL starts 5G free trials from March 2018 in India

After the successful launch of BSNL 4G services in India, the telecom company is ready for some experimentation. To get the A/B testing done in India, BSNL is planning and working towards starting the free trial of the BSNL 5G internet services by the end of the current financial year, which is on March 2018. The tying up of BSNL with the American company, Coriant for 5G internet service is anticipated to be the most lucrative and beneficial deal for the Indian Telecommunication and Technology industry. For the internet service of 5G, BSNL will lay over 7 lakh kilometers of optical fiber and will offer the ultra fast speed of broadband and mobile data packs.

How will BSNL 5G service change internet scenario in India

If BSNL will bring and begin the 5G mobile internet data service along with broadband and WiFi, then it will hit the business and economy of  India tremendously, in a positive way. Apart from high-speed data, BSNL 5G services will leave behind the 4G technology by millions of times, allowing significantly faster connectivity between applications and gadgets. However, as of now, nothing can be said about BSNL 5G prices and plans in India.

We just wish that BSNL 5G free trials in India begins in March 2018 and the country can become a part of this revolutionary world of information and technology with the fastest mobile internet, broadband and WiFi services.
