State-run telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited or BSNL has extended the free calling facility for all landline users in the country. BSNL has revised and extended the Sunday free calling benefits for all users of the landline. Earlier BSNL was shutting down the free calling benefits from February 1, 2018, but now the service has been resumed for next three months.
BSNL Sunday Free Calling Resumed for Next 3 Months
BSNL was supposed to shut down the Sunday Free callings service from 1st Feb 2018. But now the telecom operator has decided to continue the service for next three months. From now the landline users of BSNL can enjoy the free calls on Sunday. In view of popular demand across the country, the telecom operator has decided for the continuation of the service.
To recall Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited launched the Sunday Free calling service on August 21, 2016. After that all calls made on Sunday are free. There were no extra charges for calls made on Sunday from BSNL landline. This new change comes after BSNL revised the free voice calling timings.
BSNL Premium Broadband Plans With Unlimited Calls and Data
Recently Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has also revised the premium broadband plans and started offering unlimited voice calls and data without any FUP. Under the BSNL Premium Broadband Plans, the telecom operator has revised 5 plans that are now offering free voice calls and data.
The first plan is the BSNL 1495 plan and in this plan, users will get unlimited voice calling with data. The total high-speed data allocated in this plan is 70GB at speed of 10 Mbps and after the usage of 70GB unlimited data usage at a speed of 2 Mbps. The BSNL plan ULD 1599 offers same unlimited voice calls and 80GB high-speed data at a speed of 10 Mbps. After 80GB data usage the speed revised to 2 Mbps.
The third plan is the BSNL 1745 plan. In this plan, the telecom operator is offering 70GB of high-speed data at a speed of 16 Mbps and all calls are free in this plan. After the usage of high-speed data, the speed revised to 2 Mbps. The 2295 plan of BSNL offers 100GB data with a speed of 16 Mbps and after that, the plan offers 2 Mbps speed. The 5th BSNL premium broadband plan is the plan 2845 and it offers 100GB data at a speed of 24 Mbps. After that, the speed of data is 2 Mbps.
