Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited or BSNL has now launched a new plan under which the state-run telecom operator is offering free unlimited data usage and unlimited calls. This is the BSNL 187 plan. The plan offers unlimited data with 1GB high-speed data usage and after that unlimited data with low speed. This plan will compete with the monthly plan of Jio and Airtel under which they are offering unlimited calls and data.
BSNL 186 plan is the monthly plan and in this plan, users will get unlimited calling and data usage. The unlimited free calls in the 186 plan of BSNL includes all local, STD and Roaming calls. There are no restrictions on free calling. Apart from free calling all BSNL prepaid users who will recharge with this plan will also get unlimited data. The unlimited data includes 1GB data with full speed and after the usage of 1GB data unlimited data with a low speed at 40 kbps. The pack comes with a validity of 28 days.
Recently BSNL has reduced the validity of its Digital India Plan 429 and Plan 485. Both the packs earlier comes with 84 days validity and now the validity of BSNL 429 plan is reduced to 71 days and the validity of BSNL 485 plan reduced to 74 days.
The 186 plan is a monthly plan of BSNL which will give a tough competition to Jio latest Happy New Year plan 199 and Airtel monthly plan 179 and 199. To recall Jio last month in December 2017 announced two new plans to give a Happy New Year Gift to all its users. The two new plans launched by Jio are 199 plan and 299 plan. The 199 plan of Jio offers 1.2GB daily 4G data and 299 plan offers 2GB daily data. Both plans offer free calling and the validity is 28 days.
Similarly, Airtel has also launched a new plan 199 under the Airtel Prepaid Promise. This plan of Airtel competes with Jio 199 plan as under this plan Bharti Airtel is offering 1GB daily 4G data with free calls. All calls are unlimited in the Airtel 199 plan. The Plan also offers unlimited calls in roaming. Users will also get free 100 SMS per day in 199 plan of Airtel.
