All set to commence from March 5, 2018 this year, students are all set to take the CBSE Board Exams 2018 within a few weeks from now. Central Board of Secondary Education which is an efficient conducting and regulating authority of various examinations held throughout the year has induced some real great norms to help students. To reduce stress & burden on students and improve their scores in the CBSE Board Exams 2018, the board of education has always granted an additional time as ‘reading time’ for candidates to go through the question paper before attempting the same. CBSE Board Exams 2018 | Additional ‘Reading Time’ Granted To Students During Exams 

The theory question papers in the CBSE Board Exams 2018 carry around 80 to 100 marks for Class 10th & 12th both depending upon the subject. The allotted time to attempt the entire question paper of CBSE Board Exams 2018 as total exam duration is 3 hours. The three hour time duration is granted as ‘writing time’ to candidates wherein they have to attempt the question paper in all respects. Furthermore, candidates have also been granted a reading time for the CBSE Board Exams 2018.

This is granted as a supernumerary aspect wherein an extra time of 15 minutes for the three hour duration of exam is provided wherein which the candidates shall have to only read the CBSE Board exam question paper. This is a great initiative taken up by the board to reduce stress levels of the students and allow them freedom to express themselves better in the CBSE Board Exams 2018. This in turn improves their performance and fetches them more marks in the tests.

How To Utilise Additional 15 Minutes Reading Time During CBSE Board Exams 2018 Effectively

The annual board exams aspirants currently pursuing their academic year with CBSE affiliated schools with the education board are since given this additional time for going through the complete question paper, we cater to how to use the same to their best. The time starts at 10:15 am for the candidates as their reading time allowing them to only break the seal of the CBSE Board Exams 2018 question paper till 10:30 am. During this time, candidates can actually read the questions and effectively strategise their order of attempt.
