CGPSC State Service Exam 2018 – Dates, Application Fee & Other Details
Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission has released the notification regarding the State Service Prelim Exam 2018 on 1st October. The process of filling the application form for the exam will begin from 7th December 2018. The last date to fill the application form is 5th January.
The payment of application fee can be done on or before 5th January 2019. After the closing of the application form, the Commission will start the form correction process and it will be held from 8th to 14th January 2019. The Prelims Exam Date for the exam is 17th February 2019 and the Mains Exam Date is 21st to 24th June 2019.
The application fee for the General Category candidates for the CG State Service Prelim Exam 2018 is Rs 400. For the SC/ST and OBC category candidates, the application fee is Rs 300. Candidates will have to pay Rs 15 as application form editing. The payment can be done via credit card, debit card, net banking or via an authorized portal.
As per the official notification of CGPSC, the lower age limit to apply for the exam is 21 years and the upper age limit to apply online is 28 years. Age relaxation is also there as per the rules of the government. There are total 160 vacancies in CGPSC. the candidates must have a Bachelor Degree to apply for the exam from a recognized university of India.
The vacancies are tentative and it may increase or decrease. The candidates will be selected for the post on the basis of the Written examination – Preliminary & Main Exam. All those candidates who will clear the Preliminary exam will have to apply once again for the Main Examination. The exam date for the Prelim Exam is 17th February 2019.
