CSIR UGC JRF/NET 2017 June Exam Results have been delayed. UGC that in University Grant Commission is the board that conducts the Junior Research Fellowship National Eligibility Test [JRF] twice every year. This year the JRF exam was held on 18th June 2017 in two shifts. Although the exam is supposed to be held twice a year, yet it also depends on the vacancy for the Junior Research Fellowship in the institute, university or National Laboratory of Research and higher education.
The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research has announced the delay of the results for the June exam. This delay in the result of UGC JRF/NET 2017 is a result of the pending legal case regarding the pending answer keys. This legal petition was filed challenging the UGC for not releasing the answer keys of the CSIR UGC NET 2017 exam last month in Punjab and Haryana High Court.
CSIR UGC JRF/NET Results 2017 Delayed Officially
CSIR has officially declared the delay in the result of the CSIR NET 2017 exam. This joint CSIR JEF and NET exam held on 18th June 2017. After the board was legally challenged for answer keys of the exam by the group of students in the Punjab and Haryana High court, the board has declared that the result for this exam is going to delay.
Also, there has been no tentative information from the board regarding the results of the CSIR NET 2017 exam in the notice online. Only the mention of delay has been posted on the website.
The Reason behind the Delay of CSIR UGC JRF/NET Result 2017
The reason for this delay in the results for the CSIR JRF/NET 2017 exam is due to the Legal case that is going on in Punjab and Haryana High Court on UGC regarding the answer keys of the exam. Due to the Legal petition filed by the group of candidates who appeared for the exam against UGC, the results for the exam are going to get delayed. Also, there has been no information on the date on which the results for CSIR UGC JRF/NET 2017 exam could be expected. All the candidates who appeared for the JRF exam this year in June have to still wait for any notification regarding the results.
