CSIR UGC NET 2018 Exam: Last month ie. in September, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research released the official notification for the Joint CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) for Junior Research Fellowship
(JRF) and for Lectureship (LS). The CSIR started the process of applications for the exam in the month of September itself. Now only a few days left for the application process. Here are the details regarding the last date for the submission of application form.
CSIR UGC NET Exam December 2018 For JRF and LS – Last Date
As per the notification released by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research for the National Eligibility Test December 2018, the last date to fill the application form is 15th October. Now only a few days left for the submission of application form for the Exam, The candidates who haven’t applied yet are advised to fill their application form soon.
The application fee for the General Category candidates for the CSIR NET Exam is Rs 1000. For the OBC Category NCL, the examination fee is Rs 500. And for the SC/ST/PwD category candidates, the application fee is Rs 250. The candidates of OBC Category who are under the Creamy layer will have to pay Rs 1000 as examination fee for the CSIR UGC NET Exam December 2018.
For the post of JRF (Junior Research Fellowship), the maximum age limit to apply online is 28 years. This upper age limit for the JRF is relaxable up to 5 years for the SC/ST/PWD candidates and 3 years for the OBC category. There is no upper age limit for the LS NET(Lectureship).
CSIR UGC NET December 2018 Exam Application Process
The application form filling process for the CSIR UGC NET Exam is totally online. Candidates will first have to open the official website of CSIR. The official website is http://csirhrdg.res.in/. On the home page search for the Apply Online link under the CSIR UGC NET December 2018 exam. Click on the link. A new page will open. On the left side of the page, click on the Register Here Button.
Now fill all the details required for the registration for the CSIR UGC NET December 2018 for JRF and LS. Candidates will have to fill email address, Mobile Number, and Password. Click on Submit Button. A username or registration Id will be provided after registration. Now once again click on the apply button on the left side of the page and fill all the details. Make sure that that the information submitted will be correct.
