DU Admissions 2018 | Courses, Expected Cut-Off & All Other Details You Need To Know

DU Admissions 2018: With the admission procedure for students seeking admissions in the different colleges of the Delhi University for the forthcoming academic session that is 2018-2019, the students are interested to have a look for the different courses and the expected cut-off ruling each course which shall be affecting the admissions to a great extent.

The DU Admission procedure for the new academic session 2017-2018 has already commenced from May 15, 2018 for the undergraduate courses and will commence from May 18 and May 20 for the postgraduate, postgraduate diploma and Ph.D., MPhil courses respectively. The mode of the same for all the classes is online. Overall, there are a total of 5400 seats available in as many as 90 colleges.

Entrance Exam For the University of Delhi Admissions in Specific Courses

The University of Delhi is offering admissions in the new academic session of 2018-2019 in nearly all the undergraduate as well as the posts graduate courses. The admission is done on the result of the students and as per the cut-off lists which are rolled by the University.

Whereas, entrance tests are conducted for some of the courses like Health Education and Sports, Bachelor of Management Studies, Bachelor of Elementary Education, BA (Hons) Business Studies, BA (Hons) Multimedia and Mass Communication, Bachelor of Business Administration (BTech), Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Hindustani Music-Vocal or Instrumental (Santoor, Sitar, Violin, Sarod as well as Guitar), B Tech (Information Technology and Mathematics Innovation), Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Karnataka Music-Vocal or Instrumental Vina or Violin, BA (Hons) Humanities and Social Sciences, Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Persian Music (Tabla or Pakhawaj), Bachelor of Elementary Education as well as Bachelor of Science in Physics Education, Health Education and sports. The Journalism in the five year integrated program with the Delhi School of Journalism is also an inclusion.

Delhi University Admissions 2018 | Cut-Off lists by June 19

The University of Delhi, in context to the admissions in different undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses is likely to extend the first cut-off list for the academic session of 2018- 2019 in the month of June 2018. The tentative dates for the same are in between June 19 to June 21. The expected DU cut-off list 2018-2019 is releasing a week earlier than it was released last year.

Also, this year, the number of the DU cut-off lists are likely to be reduced. Also, like last year, the Delhi University is all set to conduct a special drive for the students belonging to the ST, SC, as well as the OBC students which shall be conducted after the fifth list, will be formulated within the university campus.
