ESIC Recruitment 2018: In the month of November 2018, ESIC (Employee State Insurance Corporation) Delhi released an official notification for the post of Junior Engineer. The ESIC also invites applications from candidates for these posts. The candidates can check the eligibility in the official notification and apply online for the same if they are eligible. Here are the details regarding the recruitment of JE posts in ESIC.
ESIC Recruitment 2018 For JE Posts – All Details
Dates: The ESIC (Employee State Insurance Corporation) open the link for the online registration of applications for the Junior Engineer posts on 16th November 2018. The link to apply online for the same will close on 15th December 2018 at 11:59 pm. The candidates are advised that they should fill the application form on or before 15th December 2018. The last date to pay application fee is 18th December 2018.
Application Fee: The application fee for the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Departmental Candidates, Female Candidates & Ex-Servicemen is Rs 250. This application fee is refundable after the appearing of the candidate in the written examination. the fee for the other category candidates is Rs 500 and this is non-refundable.
Vacancies: As per the notification released by the Employee State Insurance Corporation Delhi, there are total 79 vacancies for the Junior Engineer posts. For the Civil Junior Engineer post, there are total 52 vacancies out of which 6 are for SC category, 5 are for ST category, 15 for OBC Category and 26 for the unreserved category. For the JE Electrical posts, there are 27 vacancies out of which 4 are for SC, 2 are for ST, 8 are for OBC and 13 are for the unreserved category.
Steps for Applying: There are total three steps to fill the application form for the ESIC (Employee State Insurance Corporation) Recruitment 2018. The first step is the registration step and in this candidates will have to register on the website with a valid email ID and mobile number. The second step is to fill the application form and the last step is the submission of application fee.
Mode of Selection: The candidates will be selected for the post of JE in ESIC Delhi on the basis of the written Test. The written test will have two papers. The first paper will have questions from General Intelligence and Awareness. The maximum marks for this will be 100 (50 each section). The second paper will have questions based on General Engineering (Electrical or Civil). the maxim marks for this Paper will be 100. The duration of the exam for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be 2 hours.
