HTC U11 Life and U11 Plus smartphones have been recently launched in USA and now it will be soon launched in India. The special feature of Edge Sense technology in of HTC U11 Life and HTC U11 Plus is taking the smartphone enthusiasts by storm. Earlier this year, HTC had launched the first variant in the U series i.e U11 but in the later half of the year, the company decided to launch two of its new variants U11 Life and U11 Plus. Both the smartphone devices by HTC come with an Edge Sense technology through which users can ‘squeeze’ the side frames to use other functions of the smartphones.

Talking about the specifications of HTC U11 Life smartphone, it runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor and is powered by Android 8.0 Oreo. The HTC U11 Life is backed up by 3GB and GB RAM coupled with 64 GB internal storage.
Apart from this, the HTC U11 Life sports a 5.2-inch screen with full HD LCD display, which is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The handset features 16-megapixel primary camera on the rear with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, BSI sensor and HDR mode. However, it has a 16-megapixel camera on the front of the HTC U11 Life smartphone that is perfect for selfies. There is a set of sensors just near the rear camera that helps in shooting videos in full HD resolution. The mobile phone handset houses a battery of 2,600mAh and supports the connectivity options via Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, Wi-Fi, USB Type-C and Cat 9 LTE.
HTC U11 Plus features and specifications
Going by the specification and features of another variant of HTC U11 Plus this is the premium smartphone that also runs Android Oreo but comes with a large HD display of 6 inches with 1440 x 2880 pixels resolution. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, HTC U11 Plus is backed by 4 GB and 6GB RAM coupled with 64 GB and 128 GB of the internal storage, respectively. The inbuilt storage of HTC U11 Plus can be further expanded upto 2TB with the help of microSD card. The handset houses a battery of 3,393mAh and comes with an 8-megapixel camera on the front with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and 12-megapixel primary camera on the rear with f/1.7 aperture.
The phone provides connectivity option including Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, USB Type-C and Cat 9 LTE and IP68 certified phone i.e dust and water resistant.
Prices of HTC U11 Life and HTC U11 Plus
HTC U11 Life was on sale in the US and was priced at $349, which will come out to be Rs 22,500, approximately while U11 Plus is yet to hit the market for retail and is likely to be on sale in the coming weeks of this month. The HTC U11 Plus will be available in the selective markets at the price of €799, which comes out to Rs 60,200, approximately.
