IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2018 | Update on Prelims and Mains Syllabus with Marks

IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2018: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has been online with the application process for the Clerical post for the year 2018. IBPS started the online registration process for Clerk post on 18 September and will end on 10 October 2018. Along with the official notification, IBPS has also released the prelims and main exam syllabus for the candidates.

IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2018: Syllabus for the Prelims Exam

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has released the Clerk Recruitment syllabus and exam dates for the prelims exam. As per the official notification of IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2018, the prelims exam for the same will be held on 8, 9, 15 and 16 December 2018. Although the online application process has been going on for the IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2018 on the official website of Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.

IBPS Prelims Exam for Clerical post-2018 will be of total 100 marks and the question will contain 100 questions. Prelims question paper for Clerk recruitment will comprise of English Language (30 marks), Numeric ability (35 marks) and Reasoning Ability (35 marks). Candidates will get only 20 minutes to solve each section in the IBPS Prelims exam for Clerk post in the year 2018.

Mains Exam Syllabus and Marks for IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2018

Whereas for the Mains exam of IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2018, the schedule has been locked for 20 January 2019. According to the official notification only, the selected candidates of the IBPS Clerk prelims exam can further have to appear for Mains on 20 January 2019. Institute of Banking Personnel Selection will announce the prelims result in the month of December 2018.

IBPS Mains exam for Clerk recruitment will consist of total 200 marks and 190 questions. There will be a total of 4 section- General English (40 marks, 35 minutes), General Awareness (50 marks, 35 minutes), Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude (60 marks, 45 minutes) and Quantitative Aptitude (50 marks, 45 minutes).
